So, I’m in the process of transitioning from Dallas to LA. During this process, I’ve bounced back a few times, getting things sorted out, having some micro-adventures and sorting out some business.

So, week before last, I was able to make it out to the Obey Records night at the Crosby in Santa Ana, and DJ Nobody was on the decks. It was a stellar night, and a great venue. The week before was the Flying Lotus records release party (he just dropped his FANTASTIC record Los Angeles on Warp Records), and it was sick, sick, sick! All of the Low End Theory folks were in full effect. And speaking of Low End Theory, one of the masterminds behind LET, Daddy Kev has put a shine on his label Alapha Pup’s web site. It got a stellar remake and is full-title cyber central where you can cop fresh tracks from edIT, Daedelus, Busdriver and tons of other stuff from GSL records to Funkadelic. Serious business.
